Connecting with the WinCC v7.5 is the same work as in the first solution. You could also program the S7-300 CPU using Step 7 v1x Professional TOA Portal (now at v16), which makes connecting to WinCc v16 very easy for the HMI part of the project. The proposed solution is called a "Device Proxy" that virtually connects the CPU with the HMI program, and is explained in the following link:ΔΆ. Establishing connection to your HMI is more touchy, as it can only be programmef with WinCC v1x from TIA Portal. Connecting to the WinCC v7.5 project is not difficult, you can use any available communication link from the WinCC v7.5 S7 Protocol Suite to link the WinCC tags to the S7-300 program. You are programming the S7-300 CPU with Step 7 v5.x (v5.6 is the latest version).
